カラーユニバーサルデザイン（ハート出版） item.rakuten.co.jp 国内３２０万人、世界の２億人が色弱者と言われる現在、「カラーユニバーサルデザイン」の必要性が増しています。これまで通りの「ものづくり」で本当にいいのでしょうか？すべての人にやさしい「色のバリアフリー」が、いま求められています。 オモチャを買うと箱に「対象年齢○○才以上」と書かれています。電気製品のマニュアルを開くと、たくさんの注意書きが並んでいます。ところが、いろいろな製品の箱のどこにも「色弱の人には使えません」とは書いてありませんし、マニュアルのどこにも「色弱の人は注意してください」といった注意書きはありません。例えばデジカメ・携帯電話・大型テレビ・家電品などを買ったら、全ての人が問題なく使えるのでしょうか？ これらの製品はいずれも、日本から世界に向けて、年間数百万台以上も出荷されています。もしこれらの製品の大事な機能が色弱の人に使えない物だったらどうするのでしょう。利用者の男性の5%が色弱者だとしたら、その人たちはどうしているのでしょう。実際には使えないのに我慢しているのかもしれません。 反対に、箱に「色弱の人にも使えます」と書いてあれば、色弱者の多くはそちらを選ぶでしょう。 世界中の色弱者は、あなたのデザインを大歓迎する準備をして待っているのです。 （日本の男性の５％、欧米の男性の８～１０％が色弱です） カラーユニバーサルデザインの実践のためには、まず、「問題が何であるかを視覚的に理解する」次に「なぜそのようなことが起こるのかを学ぶ」そして「どのような方法で」「どのように改善すれば良いかを知る」ことが必要です。 詳しくは「カラーユニバーサルデザイン」（ハート出版）をご覧ください。 item.rakuten.co.jp |

2010.8.30 ミラノのVilla San Carlo Borroneoで行われたマツダ・デザインワークショップでお披露目された近未来のデザインコンセプトモデル『靱(しなり)』。 パワートレインは不明だが、FR(フロントエンジン/リアドライブ)が想定されている。従来の自然界の動きをテーマにした『流れ』シリーズの模索から辿り着いたのが、生物が見せる一瞬の動きの強さや美しさ。 例えば、何かを狙って動き出す一瞬のフォルム--日本古来の武道・剣道の突きの一瞬、チーターが獲物を狙って力を貯め、飛び掛かる一瞬など。その瞬間こそが、もっとも研ぎ澄まされた力のバランスを持っていて、無駄なく美しい......前田郁夫デザイン本部長率いるマツダデザインが辿り着いた、新しい感覚世界ということだろうか。 デザインテーマは、魂動(こどう)-Soul of Motion。key wordは、speed( 前進感)、tense(緊張感)、alluring(艶やかさ)。それよりも百聞は一見にしかず。答えは姿形、肢体の中にありますね。 |
