www.w0w.co.jp カウントダウンの数字と数字の間にある「間」。 その「間」こそが我々が時間と捉えているもの。 その時間のはざまを映像によって空間的に表現します。 11個のいけばな作品を立体作品として再構成し、広大な空間にレイアウト。 カメラは時間の流れに流されるかのように、それらの作品を一つずつ順番にとらえていきます。 The space between the number on count-up. That space is what we consider as time itself. We creates that time of the space as an image into the three dimension world. Eleven of "IKEBANAS" are created as three dimension object and arranged into the vast space. The camera sequentially cathes those works like being thrown into the flow of time one by one. スイスで開催される [BASELWORLD 2009] でシチズンブースのメイン映像として制作した作品。 表現テーマはECO DRIVEの無限性。 東京という都市が持つ変化し続けるパワーを、ECO DRIVEが持つ無限性と重ね合わせ、エネルギーの蓄積と放出というアクションを東京という都市を使ってダイナミックに表現した。 BASELWORLD 2009, the world's biggest and most essential event for the watch and jewelry industry, is being held from March 26 to April 2. 2009 in Basel, Switzerland. WOW provided the main movie to enhance Citizen's booth at the week long event. The theme of the movie is infinite possibilities for Eco- Drive, Citizen's new model in its range. We cohesively combined images and meanings of constant change and energy in Tokyo with the infinite possibilities of Eco- Drive. We hoped to express how the enormous energy of Tokyo dynamically circulates. モーションテクスチャープロジェクトの一環として製作されたインスタレーション作品。 せんだいメディアテークと日本科学未来館で展示。人の動きに反応して、水のように波立つ床一面の映像。そして、風車の回転とともに動きだす壁の映像。 空間全体にインタラクティブ映像を投影し、その環境自体をデザインする実験的作品。再生されるだけの映像を超えて、いかに映像を存在させるかという試みでもある。 interactive move installation Initially shown at Sendai Mediatheque before moving to the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, Tokyo, the piece was a massive installation born from the "Motion Texture" project. Using both horizontally and vertically mounted projectors, images were projected onto the floor and walls of the installation space, completing immersing the viewer. Cameras captured the movements of people in the space and created water-like textures on the floor, creating a virtual reality trompe l'oeil. A small windmill, through which viewers could blow, would also generate a reaction that would change the environment. The entire space became interactive, proving the video is not necessarily just something that starts with the pressing of the "play" button. Here, before your eyes, you could witness life behind the images, see a nascent consciousness, and truly feel that this was extant imagery. Music by Masato Hatanaka www.hatanakamasato.net |

現実と空想がやわらかに交差するインスタレーション。wowlabは仙台クリエイティブ・クラスター・コンソーシアムの主催するイベント「OCCUR2009」に参加。 「工場と遊園地」というインスタレーション作品の制作を通して、地域のデザイナーやアーチスト、科学者とのコラボレーションを試みました。 'Factory and Fantasy' is a video installation which gently mixes realism with surrealism. wowlab will be joining 'OCCUR 2009' held by the Creative Cluster Consortium in Sendai.
