Early-Octobre 2008 in Japan. せかせかと路上を徘徊するアシナガバチを発見。棘のついた栗のイガも平気で乗り越えるのがなんか可笑しかったです。中胸背に黄色の縦線が見られないものの、キアシナガバチに多い黄斑変異個体らしいと教えて頂きました。新女王との交尾は済んだのでしょうか。飛ぶ元気がないのだろうか。刺される危険の無い♂と確信できたので（頭楯が白い）、手に乗せてみました※。 ※アシナガバチの♂は毒針（産卵管の変化した物）を持たない。 |

The provisioned food was a paralyzed sac spider (Clubiona sp., family Clubionidae) whose six legs (L2-4, R2-4) had been amputated by the mother wasp. From late-June to late-July 2009 in Japan. Soundtrack (audioswapped): "Cloud Forest" by Patricia Spero 育房cから採集した幼虫の飼育記録です。貯食物はフクログモ科の無紋フクログモの一種。蜂の子はクモの硬い牙を残しただけで全て食べ尽くしました。繭から♂が羽化してきました。ヒメベッコウの仲間は外見での区別が難しく、今回も♀の標本を幾らルーペで見ても同定できませんでした。しかし♂を調べたところ、顔の両側に幅広い白条があり、第7腹背板に白点があることから並ヒメベッコウ（Auplopus carbonarius）だろうと判明しました。 |
